STL level3 diploma optional units

Can anyone advise me if all the optional units require an observation of practise by an assessor, and if so is it whilst supporting maths and literacy, as per the mandatory units.

I'm trying to work out my hours and what I need to do and where.

Kathy what optional units are you doing? Most optional units are heavily weighted with observations but need to know which ones before I can help x

I haven't picked them yet. I'm trying to weigh up what's best. My paid hours cover nursery and reception but its all afternoons, so there's not maths and literacy going on. So far I've been having to volunteer on top so I can get some morning experience in to meet the requirements for the observations if the mandatory units.

Think of which ones will best fit you then and that you can get the most from. Think about your duties and what you can show x You could always ask if you can do a maths or literacy activity in the afternoon

That is a good idea. Why didn't I think of that?
