Help please, if poss... PSHE activity on positive relationships
Hiya!
For this unit, I have to devise a PSHE activity (including lesson plan) that could be used in circle time. It has to encourage the children to understand the value of positive relationships with others. It can include other resources or games.
Suggestions in college were: write a short play, act it out, discuss it afterwards; read a book during circle time then discuss it afterwards; show 2 pictures of the same child, 1 happy face, 1 sad face -discuss why the child is happy/sad, think of wow words for each picture
The trouble is, I've never done PSHE or circle time as I dont work in the classroom, I deliver literacy interventions and do language support full time. I am completely clueless about PSHE and dont know where to start. I've searched good old google but am getting nowhere fast. I dont see how any of the above suggestions would encourage positive relationships. Please can anyone help??

finally finished it. Thank you for your sugegstions Helen. Decided to go with "What makes a good friend?"
Found a lovely visual aid and activity on tes and have added a few ideas to it.
The shame is, I wont get to actually do the lesson, only have to hand it as part of the unit.
Thank you
