cross referencing
Hiya! Happy New Year to all, hope you've all had a fab christmas
I've dragged my books out and wanted to ask a quick question about cross referencing. Up to now, my tutor has been been cross referencing stuff in my file but for this unit she gave us the questions in 2 parts. One set was set out on task sheets and we had to write on the sheets - no problem. However, the 2nd sheet is a set of 4 questions which she has asked us to answer but I feel that I have already covered most of it on the 1st lots of questions. She did say we could corss reference or answer in full, but I would like to have a go at cross referencing as it will save me rewriting the same answer.
As I've gone straight in at Level 3 I feel I've missed out on some basic stuff that may have been covered in level 2?? Is it ok to write a little bit about the question but where I feel I've already answered it, write "please see Unit 1, page 1 Task1 and 2" Is that enough or do I need to do it in a different way???
Many thanks in advance

Re: cross referencing
Just log it in your log book for example unit blah blah element 3.4 then page number where you have already covered it etc. I am all for cross referencing and not rewriting the same stuff.
Re: cross referencing
aw thanks for your replies, I knew you wouldnt laffs at me
I dont have a log book Cindy, seems they do eveything different on the new course - unless they just do it different in Wales. So far, my tutor has put cross referencing sheets in the relevant units and done it all for me!!! Sounds like Im lucky!!! lol
Thnak you both

Re: cross referencing
Very lucking as I make my learners do it lol
Do you have unit sheets with the objectives so you know what you are working towards?
On you unit referencing sheets then do exactly the same and cross reference.

Re: cross referencing
no, don't have referencing sheets either. Tutor gives us one and says she'll cross reference if its needed.
Anyway, I've stated clearly where I'm referring to another part of the unit, giving the criteria number and page number.
Thanks Cindy x
