Develop professional relationships with children, young people and adults
Please post all questions relating to this unit here
Unit 2 Develop professional relationships with children
Please can anyone help? I'm a bit stuck with a certain question, I've written a list of strategies that my school use to encourage children to understand and respect other peoples individuality, diversity and differences. The next question asks "how do the school's strategies encourage children to understand and respect other people's feelings?" We only need to give a short answer - a couple of lines - but I'm struggling with what to say.
I'm thinking 'how' we do it is the same as the first question where I listed the strategies we use but it cant be!
Thanks in advance

probably something like by using these strategies the school promotes understanding and respect through modelling and challenging thought which are disrespectful to others. You could also mention the ethos of the school

Provide encouragement and support for other adults in the setting to have positive relationships with children and young people.
Could anyone give me a little example to help me on my way, writing a ref log for this?
It would be really appreciated.

Probably the most important thing to say is that you model positive interactions with the children yourself at all times - in line with school ethos, policies, etc. Hope this is a start, I'm sure others will have lots of ideas to add. x

Re: Develop professional relationships with children, young people and adults
how do you help other adults.
We have a few 1-2-1 behaviour folks in school and they often need support to get them through the day as it's about positive relaionships you need to approach from that angle so you talk to children in a positive way and help otheres by been that role model. Give them a break if they need it etc
