Write dance
Hi everyone
I hope everyone is ok?
Iwas wondering if anybody could help, I am researching write dance and I was wondering if anybody could advise me on how it could benefit a child with cerebral palsy?
Any advice and opinions would be appreciated.
Many thanks in advance

Re: Write dance
Sorry I've never heard of write dance I did google it and it is a way of helping children with fine motor control. I found a forum which said the music was dire!! I can see it would help a child with c.p. to develop their f.m.c. but if the music is that bad it would depend on the child and their age

Re: Write dance
I had never heard of it either, but googled it. I found some very positive reviews from people who have used it, but have to agree with what caffeine said about the music. There are several you tube clips of write dance being used - the music is like 60s 'Watch with mother' or 'playschool' - if anyone else is old enough to remember them! In one, there's a lady with a very plummy voice singing about 'puffer trains' - could only possibly see it working with foundation stage. While I am all for any new ideas to help develop skills, I'm not sure that this one would be for me.
