TA NVQ/diploma Empty TA NVQ/diploma

Post by loubylou Thu Mar 21, 2013 5:32 pm

My daughter is now interested in becoming a TA and would like to embark on some sort of course. Having done my NVQ3 a couple of years ago it seems things have changed a little since then. We have had a look online and there seems to be quite a choice. I have asked at work whether there is a particular board they would accept but they only seem to no about CASH which what the students from the college are doing with regards childcare? Online we have seen NCFE which says it is equivilent to level 3. Can anyone give us an guidance with the choice. I don' t want to pay out loads of money for something that won't be recognise. Many thanks. Question

Thanks, is this something she has to go to college to do or do you no if there is an online course. She has a school to go to for practical experience on her day off. Smile

I would say go to a college and have practical experience as well. She will have an assessor come out and observe her. Most online courses just give the underpinning knowledge and not practise
