aww Helen big hugs. Seems it always gets you when it is half term. Are you up for coffee on Monday or have you got something planned?

I hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine today, it is beautiful out and lifts the spirits immensely.

A week today I will be on the train to Plymouth for the 2013 GMB congress and will be delivering 5 speeches this year!!

Hubby has been very nice to me and bought me a little notebook so will be able to stay in contact with everyone and still pop in here. Very Happy

Linda have a good bank holiday and I hope the last part of your essay writing goes well. We are all very proud of you and what you have achieved. x

Oh Linda enjoy the pamper session and yes I am speaking again this year, five times in fact! Gracie I am going to be part of the union learning team as well showing how we support support staff and course we can give.

The sun has been glorious but sadly the rain is moving in. Hopefully it will pass and you can all enjoy the sunshine Smile

I am having a fab time at congress, though I must say Plymouth is very disappointing. Very run down and drab in parts. The weather s gorgeous and really warm. We went for a walk last night and ended up being gone for two hours! I did try to go to bed early but ended up staying up till way past midnight. Three speeches done today and one more to do tomorrow morning. Hope you all are well

Had a lovely week at congress, lovely weather fab people. Felt a right twit going for train home as I had only gone and booked it for tomorrow! £118 lighter and I am on my way home now! Should have stayed another night in the hotel but never mind.

Hope everyone is well and enjoying the sunshine, there is more to come so the weather man says

I couldn't believe it when I tried to go through the barrier and the ticket machine bleeped! My stomach did somersaults when he said it was for the following day. Sad

I had a lovely sit out in the sun for a few hours yesterday and topped up the tan nicely Very Happy A little more sun today after I have done some planning ready for being back to work this week. I am going in tomorrow to catch up on audits before I start teaching on Tuesday. Apparently I have 8 files waiting for me in my pigeon hole! eek!!

Well Im now applying for jobs and emailed my CV off this morning not expecting anything for ages, however Ive just had an agency ring me and Im off next week for an interview in Bristol.
The agency is for graduate TAs (I must stress here that I registered on loads of sites ) and this one was the one that made contact .
Being out of work is alien to me and Im not enjoying it at all,in fact Im bored already Rolling Eyes

Thanks Cindy,Im not sure about the interview on Wed as its an agency and im a bit wary of them.I have to take a personal statement with me but written in the third person (not personal then ??) and in formulaic style - Huffs been advising me so now have some idea but seems odd and I want to know how much they are charging ?? how do they make their money ??
I get my final results today so really keeping everything crossed that I pass !!
